We Get Our Hands On The New TASER® C2!

This was our first opportunity to get the new TASER C2 in our hands and feel it out. And we have pictures to share with you. This is the first set of pictures of the TASER C2 outside of TASER International, Inc that we know of.
The TASER C2 fits well in our hand.
The notch for our first finger is key in holding it. This prevents the TASER from being 'squeezed' out forward and it offers the security of holding it steady. You hold it with your palm and fingers as your thumb is used for the trigger. You almost hold it like you would with a golf club; using the thumb to point the TASER C2.
The trigger hidden.
For safety, the trigger is hidden behind a door on the top of the TASER C2. This door can not be opened until you activate the TASER C2.
The trigger exposed.
Here is the trigger with the door open. You use your thumb to open and expose the trigger by sliding the door downward inside the top of the TASER C2. Your thumb is what you use to aim as it lays over the top to the TASER C2.
The Battery.
The power for the TASER C2 is stored in the handle. It is smaller than the battery for the TASER X26c. But it still packs a punch. It will provide up to 50 firings at a peak 50,000 volts.
The Cartridge.
What sets the TASER C2 apart is the science in the cartridge. The cartridge has the two probes, the wire, and the compressed air to shoot these probes up to 15 feet. In the package there is only one cartridge but you can order more.

After being able to see the TASER C2 in real, and playing with it in our hands, we are even more excited about this product. The colors are nice, but it's the size and solid feel in our hands that gives us the assurance of protection that we are looking to obtain from a TASER.
The manufacture says that the TASER C2 will be available mid June.
